It's basically a known fact that every single LEGO game on a handheld is going to be terrible. LEGO Indiana Jones 2 is no exception.

If you're going to purchase the game, buy it on a console right now! The game is an abomination to the LEGO series. The best part of the game...is the opening cutscene. That's how bad it is. The gameplay is repetitive and confusing and it's pretty hard to

The main story is boring to play, and the controls feel really unpolished.
  2. LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues is a fun little entry into the series. The mechanics are more polished than the first game, and LEGO-game fans will likely find the core gameplay to be as satisfying as ever.
  3. Finicky touch-screen controls slow down the action occasionally, but mainly Indy 2 just lacks the charm of other LEGO titles due to a poorly adapted story and humor that falls flat most of the time. [Holiday 2009, p.90]
