Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Image
  • Summary: LEGO Star Wars II takes the fun and customization ability of the LEGO play pattern and combines it with the epic story, characters and action from the revolutionary Star Wars: Episodes IV, V and VI. With a unique tongue-in-cheek take on the Original Trilogy, LEGO Star Wars II lets you build and battle your way through your favorite film moments. From Darth Vader's pursuit of Princess Leia aboard her Blockade Runner to Luke's final confrontation with Emperor Palpatine. For the first time ever, characters can get in and out of vehicles, as well as ride creatures. Because it's LEGO style, you can also mix and match the body parts of more than 50 playable characters to create one of millions of possible LEGO Star Wars heroes. [LucasArts] Expand

  1. Despite a litany of glitches, LEGO Star Wars II is a rousing action adventure game that lives up to expectations.
  2. Whoever's responsible should be thrown into the Sarlacc pit. [Nov. 2006, p.90]

If you think you can weather the barrage of glitches and occasionally having to quit and restart stages, then you'll probably have some fun with LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy. Of course, by buying it, you're also telling LucasArts that it's okay for it to release games that are clearly unfinished.

I give a 5 just for the game that would of been a 10, i think thay owe it to us to sort the glitches out. Then we can send are copy of the game to them and thay send a new copy back, but with no glitches! sorry i must be dreaming. Expand

The DS version freezes and has glitches that make it impossible to end the game. If given the chance I would ask for my money back.
