  1. It is innovative and uses almost all of the handheld’s non-standard features without seeming the slightest bit gimmicky.
  2. While the game isn't flawless, there's enough fun and charm involved to make it definitely worth playing.
  3. While some inventory and travel issues make eking out a living a shade more tedious than it really needs to be, at its best the game is an addicting exercise in the power of human perseverance.

fun, relaxing, slower paced game. you gotta think and plan. Great game for lazing around - excellent use of the DS options - definantly not for someone that only wants to play shooters and sports titles. Adventure gamers will enjoy. Expand

This game will be either a hate it or love it, if you are patient you will love this game however if your main goal in games is to find the boss a chop his head off you won't like this game. This is a beautifully done game with original thinking and concept that only nintendo could think of and is perfected by the touch screen of the DS when you can actually spear fish with your stylus. It brings you into the game, the evolution of the tools you learn to make to make survival easier is fantastic, but you are also a babysitter for the game to which is where the patience comes in. Not only do you have to fend for yourself but for some useless girl with some moments of not useless, it also gives a real "honey i'm home" feel when she is in the cave to ask how your day was. Its lame but I've never been stuck on a island before, maybe that's how you act. This game incorporates strategic thinking and planning ahead so I can see the benefit of having someone useless to make the game harder. Anyway all in all I praise the creators for taking a risk on the game and gameplay because it will make this game legendary or flop. Expand

This boring putrid garbage is more suited for mindless 6 year olds.
