  1. The ease of play, clever design, and memorable plot make this a very successful lunar mission.

Moon will come as a surprise to those that aren't familiar with the quality work that Renegade Kid did with Dementium: The Ward on the DS. It's becoming clear that this is a developer that has a solid grasp on the DS hardware and that they're very interested in pushing the DS to its limits while offering a good gameplay experience at the same time.
  3. Moon isn't revolutionary by any means but the overall quality of the graphics and action means this is a satisfying game that affirms the viability of the shooter genre, even on a portable.
  4. Moon is a refreshing, solid shooter for the Nintendo DS that will please all the gamers who have been waiting for the next Metriod Prime to come around.
  5. Moon is a nice ego-shooter, which is graphically o.k. Just try it out, if you look for a good, but not perfect game.
  6. Moon is a well-crafted shooter that blasts off but fails to reach orbit.
  7. 40
Moon is a decent time killer and is great for anyone looking for an interesting sci-fi adventure for their DS handheld.

Brought back a sort of feeling I haven't had since Quake or DooM. The handheld format it conducive to that old-school feeling. I had no problems with control, and I have big hands. Yes, the enemies can be a bit repetitious. But the backgrounds, sound and action are first-rate. The overall feeling is very spooky. The minigames with the bot add good puzzle-work to the game. I couldn't put it down. Expand

Wanted to like this game, but I just can't recommend it. Reviewers sited the game's controls as a plus but I found them to be veryWanted to like this game, but I just can't recommend it. Reviewers sited the game's controls as a plus but I found them to be very awkward. Shooting while strafing is nearly impossible. Of course you could stop and shoot, but then you are a sitting duck, which is suicide in a room full of enemies. Might have been easier if I had smaller hands, but if you have large hands save yourself the frustration and stay away from this game. Finally gave up on it about a third of the way in, after several hours of nearly DS throwing aggravation. Story (as much of it as I completed) was fairly interesting, but level design was repetitive and pretty bland. If the controls had been less problematic I probably would have stuck with it through to the end, but as it is I found the game unenjoyable. Collapse
