  • Summary: NARUTO: Path of the Ninja 2 gives players a portable outlet for their inner ninja. A deep, original storyline allows players to access 30 major characters from the series, from standards such as Naruto and Sakura to unlikely allies like the weapons-based Tenten. The improved and intuitive battle system makes it easy for even the newest fighters to get into the combat, using the DS Touch Screen to unleash devastating melee and jutsu attacks on any opponent foolish enough to get in their way. The new Squad Leader and Ninja Tag systems provide even more squad-building options, while the Wi-Fi multiplayer feature offers aspiring ninja the chance to take on challengers from around the world. Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2, and the Path of the Ninja series as a whole, is proof that an RPG based on a popular license can be good.
  2. Path of the Ninja 2 is basically D3 making the best with what they had, and doing something impressive with it.
  3. Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2 has a lot of potential.
  4. Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2 was a game that set itself up to be an improvement over the last one. While it has improved in every category, the game is still on the boring side, and increasing the play-through time from 8 hours to 10 hours really doesn’t make it that much worthwhile.
  5. Despite the appealing online component, I can’t recommend Path of the Ninja 2 to anyone mildly interested in Naruto or portable RPG’s, as there are better examples of both on the DS.
  6. 60
Unfortunately, once you level up enough, you can get through the game simply by mashing the "attack" button, which doesn't say much about the game's complexity. [Nov 2008, p.103]
  7. Naruto Path of the Ninja 2 is only for fans of the Naruto universe and not for general Role Playing Game fans as this game was made for people who enjoy the universe only. Naruto Fan – Rental, Everyone Else – Skip.

Naruto path of the ninja 2 is a pretty decent,if not short RPG
The battle sprites are well made
    Several characters,all of who fight
differently enough to add replay value
There is a certain level of satisfaction when you kill high level enemies, such as anbu's and Ninja tigers
    VERY cookie cutter villain
Simple plot and desperately lengthens itself constantly Final boss is extremely cheap and doesn't feel like a fair battle
Characters will gain several useless Jutsu, and you will only use 2-3(at most) by end-game
Characters voices in battle can get annoying after a while, although I must ambit, hearing Shikamaru calling a giant salamander dragon a drag is kinda funny
All-in-all Its a pretty good RPG that is better then most people give it credit for
