  • Summary: You never thought it could turn out like this—an all-out chase where you’re the hunted. And the hunter. Now you must get behind the wheel and risk everything to infiltrate a ruthless international crime syndicate and take them down. The man you’re after is a maniac behind the wheel, and he’sd he’s driving like his life depends on escape, which maybe it does. He’s the one with all the answers you need, you will track him down. Needless to say, that fleet of police cruisers in your rearview mirror won’t make things any easier. It will take all of your experience—and every ounce of skill—to outrun the law, take down the enemy, and unlock the truth that puts an end to this chase once and for all. Expand

  1. A competent and accessible racer to DS owners. Gamers looking for a more customization-heavy or in-depth racing experience should look elsewhere. However, those that want a portable title that delivers some arcade-centric racing action on the go should give the title a try.
  2. A sporty hatchback rather than an exotic supercar but worth taking for a spin. [Jan 2009, p.85]
  3. Need For Speed Undercover on the DS is a fairly basic affair. It plays well, has no real technical flaws worth mentioning and has a sturdy base to it. It is graphically sound but dull and repetitive. Overall, it is very basic and does not provide any real thrills. For an exciting and in-depth game, look elsewhere.
  4. The racing is competent, the game modes are plentiful and it's an impressive technical achievement, but that doesn't make it a fun game to play.
