A successful combination of many styles of play, with a healthy dollop of British humour mixed in for good effect, it's definitely one to consider for fans of exploring and Overlord.
There are deeper DS games than this, but not many that make it so much fun to be the bad guy. [Aug 2009, p.91]
Taking into account this is not a very long title, the result is a game which could have been much better, providing the good idea it comes from, but because of its simplicity and scarce durability, it falls far from what we expected.
The poorly executed controls really are a shame because otherwise OM is a fairly well done game.
The game's entirely stylus controlled, which generally works well, but it can descend into incoherent screen-swiping during combat. [Aug 2009, p.77]
The evil twin to Zelda: Phantom Hourglass shows just how bad broken touch-screen controls can be.
