Trozei is a deceptively simple game with just enough hidden feature to both increase game play value and the all important fun factor.

Pokemon trozei or link as its called in england is fun when you first pick it up even if it is a bit slow. You have to link up Pokemon faces sort of like the game "bejewelled" to make them dissapear. This obviously isn't very challenging and after a while of not being able to put it down the initial enjoyment dissolves as you loose interest.

Usually I don't go near Pokemon games unless they are the RPG variety, but this game is suprisingly good value. It's an execellent fast paced puzzle games along the lines of Meteos and Columns.

  1. This is one wily little puzzler, both charming and challenging enough that even those nauseated by the thought of Pokemon should really pick it up anyway. [Mar 2006, p.118]
  2. Pokemon Trozei may seem simple, but it packs a challenge that will keep puzzle-action fans intrigued for a long time to come. [Apr 2006, p.85]
  3. There's a kind of freedom here that "Zoo Keeper" simply can't offer. No, Pokemon Teozei isn't as simple, and maybe, as a result, it's not quite as addictive. However, it certainly feels like a much more rounded game, putting it just behind "Polarium" and "Meteos" as the best puzzlers that you can get for your handheld.
