The game is far from perfect, but it fills a niche for those wanting a fun and funny 2-D platformer on the DS. [Apr 2007, p.85]

It doesn't do anything so spectacularly well that you must own a copy. [June 2007, p.96]
  3. A fun and energetic game that works well as a platformer, but horribly as a showcase. The game controls well, but has many graphical problems.
  4. The biggest let-down? Easily the graphics, which are full of chunky shapes and primitive, basic textures and colors that wouldn’t look out of place on the original PlayStation.
  5. The presentation is great and there's lots packed in, but the core platforming of Rayman Raving Rabbids is unfulfilling.
  6. There's a functional, if utterly unremarkable, platformer to be found in Raving Rabbids on the DS.
  7. While the Wii version is an oddly enjoyable experience, the DS version is a complete disappointment.

Better than Assassin's Creed Unity and For Honor, at least this game actually works. Rayman Raving Rabbids, while different from it's consoleBetter than Assassin's Creed Unity and For Honor, at least this game actually works. Rayman Raving Rabbids, while different from it's console counterparts, is a very fun and challenging platformer, offering many exciting abilities and fun gameplay. Music is also very well produced, consisting of Rabbids covers of popular tracks that some people have probably heard. Check this game out if you want, even though it's been long forgotten by this point. Easily a hidden gem in my books. Expand

This is a depressingly generic platformer that provides no compelling reason to play past the first level. There is at least one This is a depressingly generic platformer that provides no compelling reason to play past the first level. There is at least one between-level mini game whose sole purpose is to fill time; I had more fun doing my taxes. The single bright note: the soundtrack is actually pretty good but this is by no means a saving grace. Stay away. Collapse
