A basic license game with no new ideas. As a traditional platformer Robots can be annoying and too difficult. [May 05]
Jumping feels loose and overall control is a tad sluggish, though these issues rarely detract from gameplay. [May 2005, p.76]

even though it is a game for publicity for the movie, it is made with love for gamers

Most unique game in history! The adventure with Rodney Copperbottom has good variation and well-developed characters. Why the reviews are so low for this game really surprises me.

Well-meaning if not masterful, this is clearly a game for children rather than older players.
The developers and movie studios should get together on these kinds of projects. The games always get the crappy end of the stick.
If you want the Robots experience at home just wait for the DVD... If you really want some cool robots and platforming, go with one of the "Ratchet and Clank" titles.
The monotony of item collecting will turn anyone off long before frustration over poor control sets in. [May 2005, p.96]
Loved it as a kid but just popped it in and beat it because I was tempted to add it to my Dolphin collection but I can confirm now it isn't really worth it unless you're a child and there isn't much else around. I'd give more insight but its just one of those games that just glides by leaving you wanting to play a better game.

Un juego correcto que disfruté de niño. Para ser de una película (este tipo de juegos suelen ser horribles), Robots no estaba mal. De hecho, a ratos era bueno y todo. No merece mala nota, si lo compraras con otros títulos parecidos este casi es una obra maestra.

Not that anyone expects a lot from a movie game, but Robots is just the bottom of the barrel in this case. P.S., let me remind you that I do not hate games that much. Pros: The graphics are as shiny as a squeaky clean robot. Cons: Nothing else in this game feels squeaky clean at all, it leaves your soul feeling dirty and even muddy.
