  • Summary: In Shaun the Sheep, the sheep have escaped and Shaun must find the rest of the flock before the Farmer comes home. Gamers play as Shaun and interact with favorite characters such as Shirley, Timmy, Bitzer and more as they adventure through their favorite scenes and explore areas from the series like the junk pile, the sheep pool and the circus tent. Players utilize the DS touch screen and microphone as they experience three different gameplay modes: Story Mode, Mini-game Mode and Collection Mode and maneuver around obstacles, access hidden areas, and try their hand at eight unlockable mini-games and eight collectible slide puzzles. Five "micro" games offer players more interactivity and depth by showcasing memorable moments from the show such as saving Timmy from the circus high wire or making a ball of wool to distract Pidsley the cat! 1. Recommended for children and adults who love humor, Shaun the Sheep is an appealing title that’ll hold your attention for a few weeks of your time.
  2. 65
A fun little point-and-click adventure while it lasts, and it represents its source material well -- fans of the cartoon show will be sure to enjoy it. We only wish there were more of it to enjoy, and a bit more depth in the included mini-game designs.
  3. A valiant attempt at fan service, but it focuses so much on capturing and reproducing the essence of the show that it forgot that it also had to be a decent game.
  4. There isn't a lot of replay value here with only three modes, one being nothing more than a sliding picture puzzle mode. It's also very short, clocking in at a couple of hours.
  5. But the tie-ins and unlockable minigames are not enough to make the game any more entertaining than counting sheep. [Dec 2008, p.94]
