  1. There is a good amount of single-player content here, including multiple difficulty levels, and a large number of challenge missions. The inclusion of Wi-Fi multiplayer and single-cart game sharing rounds out this package as a must have for kart racing fans.
  2. Whilst it wears its influences on its sleeve and won’t supersede Mario Kart DS as the handheld racer of choice, All-Stars Racing ensures a thrilling duel to the finish line.
  3. With great controls, gorgeous graphics, awesome sound, and a perfect sense of speed, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing is a very exciting kart racer and the closest that anyone has come to matching Mario Kart on a portable Nintendo system.

I like the racing and the content. I also like the characters and the track design. The difficulty is pretty hard though, which makes it for an older audience than Mario Kart. Full Review »

Sega attempts a heavily modified Sonic Drift title, is it fun and worth the money?
The game's racer roster contains 20 characters with 7 of
them being from Sonic games, the characters behave slightly different on the DS version in comparison to the console versions and any group of racers that would normally share a vehicle are cut so that only one person is in each vehicle.
There is a decent amount of tracks but some look a little too similar to each other and comes off as looking a bit lazy overall. The game consists of a mission mode to go along with the single player, multiplayer, Wifi and Time Trial modes. The game has many unlockables such as hidden characters and new music. For people who like chasing achievements, the DS version has this as well surprisingly enough. The game itself plays in a manner similar to Mario Kart DS but with some different weapons, racing mechanics and other things that make it unique in comparison.
Although the game is fun, after completing mostly everything in the game, not even the Wifi multiplayer mode will save the game from eventually getting boring.
Overall, it is a decent racing game starring the characters of the Sega and Sonic universes but isn't as good or as memorable as Mario Kart DS.
