70It all works quite well and should prove entertaining to the little ones. The quirky humor and gameplay will be a little too simple for more mature tastes but younger gamers should definitely tune into this one.
-
They're great buys for the children in your life, but the older Spongebob fan will find nothing of note here.
-
Interesting in execution, but a little old in every other aspect. I think the younger crowd, its target audience will be overjoyed in the “8 Bizarre and Unusual Worlds!” and use of all the Nintendo DS's functions.

55Creature from the Krusty Krab's sole reliance on touch screen control is intriguing, but falls flat. In execution, the swiping design is too slow-placed, repetitive and frustrating for the adventure to maintain a steady sense of SpongeBob fun.
-
53Creature from the Krusty Krab will prove to be a stale patty even to hardcore SpongeBob fans.
-
50My biggest disappointment with SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab is that by trying too hard to be trendy and make full use of the DS hardware the developers have turned a fun if unremarkable game into one that is annoyingly sub-par.

30The scum-ridden, germ-infested sponge under my bathroom sink has more character and wit than this SpongeBob, unfortunately.
