  1. Spongebob’s Atlantis Squarepantis successfully utilizes the SpongeBob license to create a game with great controls, excellent mechanics, and diverse levels and objectives.
  2. Spongebob’s Atlantis Squarepants is a good game that does justice to its license. It may not be quite on the same level as your average Mario game, but it’s still original and fun enough that fans of the show are sure to enjoy it.
  3. All in all, SpongeBob Atlantis Squarepantis is a decent enough kids' title on the DS, with platforming elements that work well, but it hardly does anything to push the genre forward.
  4. 60
The single player has some cool parts, and manages to stay at the right difficulty level for the target audience, but it's still clunky and repetitive. The multiplayer is boring because it's not quite designed to work as a multiplayer game.
  5. 50
This one is strictly for the kids who aren't able to relish the true humor of SpongeBob, and who aren't quite adept enough to see how much of a rehash Atlantis SquarePantis on the Nintendo DS is.
