  1. The game could just have easily been another GBA game due to its shortage of innovative uses of the DS technology, however no matter what the handheld home there’s plenty of beat’em-up fun for Ninja Turtle nuts to enjoy, and a healthy kick in the pants in terms of difficulty to boot.
  2. The younger generation will probably enjoy this one, but anyone who remembers Rocksteady and Bebop shouldn’t even bother.
  3. Mutant Nightmare isn't going to blow anyone away, but it can provide a bit of entertaining ninja action when you just need something to occupy your time.
  4. Dense with the most boring, tedious, and limp gameplay this side of sewer-water. [Nov 2005, p.180]
