A bit of a disappointment really. Excellent graphics and atmospherics but structually flawed. The game contains a high number of illogical puzzles and I found myself either trying to randomly combine items in order to achieve the next goal or reach for a walkthrough/FAQ. The story was good but I found the ending a bit abrupt. Not a bad game but not a patch on the point n click greats.

Basically a very proficient graphic adventure that does a good job keeping the heritage of an almost extinct genre alive. Sadly, it's a little too streamlined for its own good and the near total lack of music and sound effects robs it of all atmosphere.

  1. Games Master UK
It can't match the point and click greats, but it's a welcome addition to DS. [June 2008, p.71]
  2. n-Revolution Magazine UK
The control system is fine, and it works particularly well with the DS stylus. [Issue#22, p.87]
  3. It's the kind of game that's perfectly suited to the unique attributes of the DS, and it'll comprehensively while away a long journey or a lazy holiday much as a good book would.
