  1. Top Spin 3 is a great example of how to make a serious sports game. It has all the facts, figures and strenuous exercise but presents them in a way that's accessible and entertaining for all.
  2. Though suffering from weak visuals and slightly ponderous pace, Top Spin 3's tight controls and involving career mode see it challenging at the top of the DS tennis rankings.
  3. This unforgiving approach may well please dedicated tennis enthusiasts but it will only frustrate those just looking for a fun experience.
  4. With the frame rate issues of previous versions truly fixed, this is about a good a tennis sim as the system is capable of providing. Given the limitations of the controls, though, I would suggest you leave the racket sport to the living room. Or Wimbledon.

Gotta agree with Suz B... This is the best tennis on the DS, and a real improvement over Topspin 2. If you are a fan of the Topspin series at all or just want a solid, enjoyable, button-based tennis game, this is it. I personally use the wide overhead view when playing and it feels as fun as Topspin did for me when I used to play it all the time on the Xbox. Definitely recommended. Expand

Very realistic graphics and animation, and the framerate is very solid! You can even choose from 2 views - behind the back or birdseye, which I found helpful. Solid gameplay, feels quite realistic to play. Has all the best players - Federer, Henin, etc. As good as a DS Tennis game can get! Expand
