  1. Most of its facets are somewhat sub-par, but the sheer addictive gameplay available in the title makes it perfect for the pick-up-and-play casual crowd.
  2. TouchMaster might not be the deepest or the most rewarding game to ever hit the DS, but it is a lot of fun.
  3. To my surprise Touchmaster really did capture what a good compilation is made of.
  4. The title has plenty of games to keep you coming back for more, especially when you're traveling, which is when portable games come especially handy!
  5. Touchmaster will definitely appeal to fans of the puzzle genre, but while 23 games in one package sounds like a lot, they're not all going to be suited to your tastes.
  6. Like having a pint at home on your own, TouchMaster just can't hope to compete with the allure of a good old boozer.
  7. The terrible presentation and the tiny icons won't endear themselves to the crusty purne-eyes belonging to their target audience. [Aug 2007, p.71]

The graphics are a little small for the DS screen, but it's very functional. If you like arcade style puzzle games, you can't beat 23 on one cartridge. In addition to the fun of trying to beat your previous efforts (with a top 10 list for every game), you can play multi-player ... and match your scores against people far far away. These games are designed to swallow quarters, and those are some of the most compelling. If you are like me, you will have problems putting it down. Much better value than almost every Ninendo DS game I have played to date. Expand

The game is riddled Being one of the developers of the original Touchmaster, I find the version made for the DS to be highly disappointing. The game is riddled with bugs and had been modified with lame game play. What was surprising was that the Midway development team was given all the original game code and artwork. Apparently, the game team decided to "improve" upon the game design ruining the flow of the game. The graphics could had been scaled properly to fit the DS screen and they could had used the top screen to allow more information and game play. It is unfortunate that the Midway team and management botched such an easy port of a proven game system. I guess this is yet another one of the resaons that Midway as a company is performing so poorly. Don't waste your money on this poor implementation of a casual game. Expand
