Most of its facets are somewhat sub-par, but the sheer addictive gameplay available in the title makes it perfect for the pick-up-and-play casual crowd.
If you're looking for something a little less straightforward than "Clubhouse Games" but not quite as quirky as "Brain Age", then this one's for you. [Sep 2007, p.85]
Really the only crime Touchmaster commits is not being upgraded with any extra features. You get exactly what you see here and while this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it can leave some gamers who have come to expect loads of extra content a bit disappointed in the end.
The title has plenty of games to keep you coming back for more, especially when you're traveling, which is when portable games come especially handy!
Just don’t expect anything revolutionary…and make sure you play it with the sound turned down; the music sounds like it was whipped up on a circa-1988 Casio keyboard.
In the end, Touchmaster should happily suit those who can't play the games at a tavern or seek out something a little derivative on the old attention-span.
