  • Summary: Based on the 2007 live-action feature film, Transformers: Deceptions lets gamers control the outcome in the battle for Earth as they choose to protect it as Autobots or destroy it as Decepticons. Players experience the unstoppable power and massive scale of their favorite Robots in Disguise such as BumbleBee, Barricade and others. As the Transformers robot's war comes to Earth, gamers make the choice to join the Autobots in protecting our planet or to join the Decepticons in destroying it. With dual campaigns, the fate of the world is in players' hands. Instantly change from a larger than life robot to a high-powered vehicle such as a sports car, fighter jet or helicopter. Players crush, topple and wreck every object, including buildings and vehicles, in their path or use the objects as weapons. [Activision] Expand

  1. For a licensed game, I think they've done a very good job of creating a unique game experience that stays in step with the source material while creating a new enough experience to make the game fun. Plus the Allspark Wars function is awesome!
  2. Transformers: Autobots feels exactly like what it is – a handheld multi-platform game that was rushed out to meet the deadline the film’s release date. It certainly taps into the nostalgia Transformers brings out in fans, but so does the movie itself, which is vastly more entertaining.
  3. Transformers: Autobots and Decepticons are essentially one game split into two “campaigns” in a shameless grab for fans’ wallets. All of the fundamental game mechanics, including controls, combat, and mission structure, are exactly the same, and even the first few levels are near-mirrors of each other.
  4. The best video game adaptation to date of the live action Transformers movie. The bad news is that it’s still not saying much.

overall, good game, (I have decepticons) graphics are medeocir, storyline is obviuse, but note this is the only transformers game for the ds that has a) freeplay, b) jets and helicopters! (yeah, for those who play war for cybertron, no choppers, right?) and c) a changible vehicale form! this deserves a 10 out of 10 just because it's the best transformers game around. should i go on with multiplayer? (Only game in which you can have most joining players and charecter (including color change!)) Expand

    Too short!
  4. Unlike the engaging DS version of "Transformers: Decepticons", "Transformers: Autobots" is a crappy game that does nothing but protecting cars and civilians. Clearly Activision tried to make more money outta this trash. Expand
