Okay, best DS game ever, best storyline game ever, only flaws are the poor grphics and the amount of charecters you can be (no scroponok or Bonecrusher!) but Impresive, and I have made the right move here.

This is possibly one of the most underrated games of all time. Epic graphics for the time and for the DS, great gameplay, great story, and great customization for a DS game. Besides, you can play as StarScream and Megatron!!!

Transformer has become one of the most recognized franchise in Tv series , toy's , games and comic books . While the first Transformer portable edition isn't very innovative or awesome is a passable game that by no means deserves a credit of being an important game in the DS ( yet is a very old game ) . Crappy graphics is a shame, there were better graphics in the time this game came out, the gameplay is a little broken and very messed up. But that's enough information I can give to it . Expand

One of the first few DS games I played and loved to enjoy.

The transformers licensed games are usually not that good. this licensed game, however, managed to do pretty well. The story for the game is great. tying in the story with the create-a-bot manages to work, and is well written in general. the gameplay is pretty fun. the combat and open-world roaming is pretty cool to do, and with numerous vehicles to choose from and scan, the replay value is big in this game. the graphics are pretty cool for a ds game. each bot looks well done, though the environments clearly show that they're on the ds, as you can see where points and edges of floors are. the voice acting is surprisingly very clear, especially for a ds game, and each person's voice work fits perfectly with each character. the music is also excellent, fitting perfectly with the Decepticons. my man problem with the game is glitches. there are some ways where it is very easy to make a glitch occur, and this sometimes gets bothersome. Overall, Transformers: Decepticons is a great underrated ds title that should be checked out by fans of transformers. Expand

  1. This game may not be a pillar of innovation or creativity, but it is fun. The combat is straightforward and the single player campaign is short, but fans will definitely have a good time here. The game is structured very well for a handheld platform and there’s enough replayability to keep you coming back for a while.
  2. Obviously, this is a game targeted to a specific audience, and while non-Transformers fans will find plenty to like it might be best as a rental. But for those who thrive in the world of high-tech morphing robots, the Battle for the AllSpark is a most tempting gameplay feature that will have thousands of gamers making daily contributions to the ongoing war.

When it comes to fighting as the robot or the vehicle, Transformers DS falls flat. The action and its technique really needs a bit of a tune-up, especially in the "defense" department, and the glitches that pop up from time to time are really hard to ignore.
