Squad Command smartly separates the live battle scene from a comprehensive map on either of the DS's dual screens, and both stylus and button controls are intuitive. [Jan 2008, p.87]

The lack of a grid is probably the biggest pull-down for this game; if it had been a bit more structured, it could have really been great. But that problem doesn't negate all the good things about this game. It's still addictive, and it's still fun. Squad Command may not be the best strategy game out there, but it's by no means the worst.

GleberM.8Poor manual! Nice graphics for DS... No grid and unable to rotate camera but a lot of fun. Replay: maybe.
