Overall Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place is a really cool game for fans of the sitcom. Graphics, atmosphere and gameplay are okay, while the sound effects and the low difficulty level do lower the review score.
As far as Disney games on the DS are concerned Wizards of Waverly Place for the DS is one of the better ones out there. The visuals are vibrant and the gameplay has some very enjoyable elements.
In conclusion, Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place is definitely aimed at the younger market, especially girls, however the game unfortunately drops the ball when it comes to engaging gameplay.
As stated before, Wizards of Waverly Place is an above-average game for the recent crop of Disney Channel games to come out on the Nintendo DS.
It does not fail and has several bright spots, there is some issues with how it looks and the gameplay can become monotonous, not a bad attempt though.
Black Lantern Studios failed to capture the spunky spirit of the show and the length and storyline leave a lot to be desired.
Wizards of Waverly Place on the Nintendo DS can best be described as a missed opportunity.
