Having never played a worms game before I didn't know what to expect. I am blown away at the highly addictive and perfectly paced gameplay. The fort mode is an awesome idea, i recommend this to anyone who likes strategy games.

Very nice game ! So much better than the original Worms released for the DS in 2005... Wi-Fi makes it the perfect Worms game, and all of the mini-games included using perfectly the stylus and blowing into the microphone makes it worth the price.

2 thumbs up, for two tribes! Finally a real deal worms game. This team should have been on the original project, which was a nightmare. This game rightfully should be titled "Worms Done right" For any worms fan contimplating on to purchase this game....get it now before you have to spend more time trying to track down this classic gaming title.

This is actually the first Worms game I've picked up since playing a demo of World Party for the PC and prior to that the original Directors Cut for the Amiga, and lets just say I'm (if you pardon the expression) blown away at how well executed it is. Two Tribes have done wonders on Team 17's flagship franchise. The campaign mode has just the right difficulty curve for "one more go", some of the puzzle stages appear to be the work of some sort of sick genius (no bad thing), and the laboratory minigame stages are a lovely touch at giving the DS version that unique feel. But of course that's not what people are buying the game for, it's the online multiplayer. Heck that alone justifies buying the game, in fact I'm willing to put it up there with Mario Kart DS as a must-own wi-fi title. Expand

  1. It's the same old Worms at the core, but it's the franchise at its best. [Sept 2007, p.72]

A massive upgrade to the original game, so much so that it really should have been its own brand instead of "Number Two" of the 2005 release.
  3. A solid Worms game but one that's not particularly well tailored to the DS. [Oct 2007, p.84]
