  1. Still one of the best NES games ever, and perfect for the GBA.
  2. For purists, this is the cream of the crop in retro goodness. [June 2004, p.138]

SMB's insane worlds, which beg exploration and conceptual absurdities, are anchored by intuitive controls and an innovative use of jump and slide physics, and midleap bending, culminating in a pinnacle of game design that redefined how video games were played. [July 2004, p.88]
  4. I highly suggest you pick up this game, even if you have it on the NES.
  5. It would make a great gift idea for anyone who has yet to experience this venerable classic.
  6. Still infinitely playable and impeccably designed. [Aug 2004, p.61]
  7. This is it, the game that brought video games in America back from the dead. [Summer 2004, p.15]
  8. Super Mario Bros. was, is, and always will be a gaming masterpiece. Its oft imitated, yet rarely equaled combination of gameplay responsiveness, superb level design and visual flourish, combined with that special loving touch that only Miyamoto seems able to wield, makes it one of those rare games that seems to transcend time.

The best of the classic Nes series.
  2. To say this is not the most important gam ever created would be foolish. Not only is it fun, but it single handedly revitalized the video game industry after the crash of 1983. Full Review »
