  • Summary: Pluto has been dognapped by the evil Emperor Pete, and it's up to Mickey to save him. Mickey must find his way through six levels, split into sub-levels and boss battles, to get Pluto back.
Along the way, he can throw blocks and items at enemies or jump on their heads, and later on he can
also make use of costumes. The wizard robe allows Mickey to shoot magic bolts; the fireman costume allows Mickey to use the fire hose to push blocks into enemies and out of the way; and the commando uniform allows Mickey to climb around levels using a hook. Expand

  1. Action fans will love it for its excellent platformer fun. [Aug 2002, p.146]
  2. A fun but short adventure that is worthy of a rental.
  3. The game itself is still a really enjoyable romp, but that doesn’t stop this being possibly the most lacklustre Nintendo release to date – the ‘Magical’ is ironic, surely?
  4. Short and relatively uninspired.

The finer details can be hard to discern. This reviewer found himself straining his eyes in an effort to keep up. But as it's packed with plenty of action, gameplayers should be ready for some serious button banging.
  6. 60
The quest is definitely tolerable and somewhat decent of a diversion, it's not going to give you even an entire day of enjoyment.
