Alive with animation and color, TP is easily the best isometric game on the GBA. [Nov 2002, p.103]
-
Players can access Solar Surfer-riding sequences and unlockable clips from the film. [Nov 2002, p.226]
-
70The Solar Surfing is only so-so, but if you're looking for an adventure that'll challenge your mind as well as your reflexes, this one should be marked on your map.
-
64Even if this game wasnt based on a film it would be a cinch to rate because Treasure Planet is all but devoid of any new ideas or unique gameplay implements. It is completely derivative of every other puzzle-solving platform game.
-
60Coupled with strong graphics that grow more impressive over time, as well as the standard Disney incentive to open additional animated cutscenes, Treasure Planet isn't quite the gem it could have been, but it does soar at times.
-
Actually a better game than either of the console versions - but not by much. It's more fun to play and the puzzle elements will give your brain a good burn.
