  1. Enjoyable, addictive fun. The special effects are excellent, and the game features some of the standard elements of Game Boy RPGs, but does a very nice job of providing a little something extra.
  2. Offers fun adventuring while freshening up the critter-catching genre. [Feb 2002, p.154]
  3. It's both rewarding and frustrating. [Feb 2002, p.100]

Love it! I got it for Easter years ago and went right on to playing it. Of course, now I've got to get a new game since its dissapeared.

It's only a "9" rated game to me if I can't lose to it. If I were you I would only play this game with a cheat device, because If you don't you could lose hours of work on a weapon or shield to a wimpy monster that only knows those awful one-hit-KO moves. I would recommend the money code for anyone taking my advice, since it is probably the only code you will need. It makes it a lot easier to recover from a loss. Expand
