  1. Garfield and his Nine Lives offers a simple and entertaining platforming experience that is sure to make the kids happy. There are a couple combat quirks and the graphics have a few hitches, but it doesn't spoil the product. Game Factory has done its job and fashioned a fun little game, no more, no less.
  2. This is a wholly average game for small children, and just doesn't have anything to raise it above other similar games. I like the fact that the designers kept it simple for ease of play, but variety shouldn't have been sacrificed in the process.
  3. Adults are not going to find much of a challenge in Garfield and His Nine Lives - but kids just might dig it as long as they have some inkling as to who this fat cat really is.
  4. AceGamez
With every clich├ęd platforming scenario and convention ever devised locked down and ready to boot, Garfield and his Nine Lives is both formulaic and as essential a purchase as a chocolate teapot. Quite simply, it's 'paw'.
  5. Nintendo Power
The levels are short, but an item-collection feature offers some motivation to fight through them multiple times. [Jun 2006, p.86]
