88I cant recommend this game enough. The GBA does not have too many great games, but add this one to the list. If you own a GBA and do not purchase this game after reading this review, its your loss.

84An incredibly tight arcade-style racer. It's fast-paced with tight controls and a decent graphics engine.
-
81The game offers numerous options, it has a ton of cars and all of the tracks from the rally circuit, and it looks good for a handheld game.
-
The improved racer adds hills and dips to the 40-plus rally courses, as well as a much-needed save feature. [Aug 2002, p.146]
-
While the game definitely is top notch, there are a few areas that could still use a little bit of tightening in order for it to really stand out.
-
80I like 'em fast and furious, not fast and frustrating. That being said, I fell in love with GT Advance 2 almost from the very beginning.
-
74A good game that ends before its time. Now that it's over, I want to go back and unlock all of the cars that I missed, but I don't have any desire to play through the entire game again.
-
A very accessible racing title that is easy to play from the start so fun is also a word that comes along for the ride. But in spite of the variety, I came away with the feeling that there was too much and then at the same time, too little of a game.
-
Aside form a handy save-game feature, though, it doesn't feel like much has changed here from the last game - at least not in terms of gameplay. [July 2002, p.126]
-
70There's a lot of replay value, but GTA 2 is somewhat marred by its control and some wacky physics. [Winter 2002, p.48]
-
70Looks and plays almost exactly like the original GT Advancenot a problem if you liked powersliding around the first game, but disappointing if you were expecting fifty dozen cars and pages of intricate tuning options.
-
With solid statistics tracking, a superb replay feature from various camera angles after each leg, and a diverse selection of race modes, cars, and tracks, GT Advance 2: Rally Racing offers heavy horsepower in the GBA racing garage.
