  1. Though the inventory and menu systems need polishing, this RPG is a dream come true for Harry Potter fans. [July 2004, p.119]
  2. While this RPG has some annoyances, its amusement factor is hard to deny. [July 2004, p.123]
  3. While older teenagers may snub this Harry Potter outing, there’s still good mileage in the bespectacled chappie for younger players.
  4. An engrossing team-oriented, turn-based RPG.
  5. The change to an RPG style of play has worked very well, and we've had a great time leveling up our teams.
  6. 7 / 7 / 7 / 6 - 27 [Vol 811; 2 July 2004]

It's got a solid storyline based on the book and film, and dozens of quests that branch outwards from situations from the film...but the experience is hindered slightly, simply by sloppy implementation of standard gaming elements.
  8. But since the majority of the time you’re playing the game you’ll be slowly walking from point A to point B completing mandatory fetch quests, the game’s solid RPG foundation collapses under the weight of its own failed potential.
  9. It's not very polished. [Aug 2004, p.93]

Prisoner of Azkaban’s faithfulness to the book, mesmerizing graphics, and captivating score are a treat for Potter fans.
  11. A mediocre to below-average RPG, and doesn’t hold many great moments.

  1. Actually not that bad. Its a decent but straight forward RPG. You will get about 20 hours worth of gameplay in the campaign. Exploding snaps and the Tea leaves mini games were interesting additions. However there is little replay value to the game. It was still fun though, I enjoyed playing it. Full Review »
  2. Actually not that bad. Decent campaign length for a handheld game and it stays true to the book/movie as well. There just isnt enough to do and it can get a bit boring after a while. Full Review »
