  1. A high-quality real-time strategy on the GBA--that's Mech Platoon in a nutshell.
  2. Game Informer
    83
Not only is it incredibly detailed for a game you can put in your pocket when you're done playing, but it also has multiplayer capabilities. [Jan 2002, p.98]
  3. Play Magazine
    80
A perfectly executed real-time strategy title, complete with an easy-to-master control set (a must for the limited button capabilities of the GBA) and a plot to match. [Feb 2002, p.68]
  4. Nintendo Power
    78
Perfect for the hard-core strategy pro. [Jan 2002, p.132]
  5. 70
A fun, fast-paced RTS that boasts lots of nifty features and a few annoying flaws that keep it from beating up on its bigger PC cousins.
  6. 70
The generous helping of missions and otherwise familiar and entertaining RTS action are commendable, but poor AI, limited maps, and some interface problems hamper the gameplay.
  7. The animation is fine, the environmental graphics simplistic, but this still manages to be a nice RTS for the GBA platform.

This is like Red Alert for the GBA, good gameplay, balanced missions, enough variation in units and a guarantee for plenty of play time!
