  • Summary: At best, Prehistorik Man is a weekend diversion from the GBA's more substantial fare.
Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 8 out of 11
  2. Negative: 0 out of 11
  1. A solid platformer, but also at the same time is somewhat generic.
  2. The game has visuals and personality to burn. [Feb 2002, p.66]
  3. The graphics are vibrant, the beat-driven music is catchy and the madcap action boasts hidden areas and collectibles you can cash in for help. [Nov 2001, p.148]
  4. With nice graphics and a storyline you don't mind following with a likeable hero, Prehistorik Man is a GBA title that has a lot going for it even though it follows the tried-and-true path of the 16-bit platform game to a "T".
  5. Doesn't have an original bone in his body, but I didin't seem to mind. [Jan 2002, p.98]
  6. Prehistorik Man is easy to control and is fun to play, which is something games now days have gotten away from.
  7. If you want something more advanced for your Advance, pass this fossil up.

Greatly underrated. The controls are intuitive, levels varied and colourful, the developers kept the game in the spirit of Prehistorik 1 and 2 made for DOS in the early 90s. Recommended to all fans of fast-paced platformers. Expand
