  1. It’s fast and quite good fun for the first few levels, but a complete lack of variety causes you to repeat the same thing over and over again, just with tighter time limits in place. Boredom sets in quickly.
  2. A confusing navigation system makes finding checkpoints difficult. [Jan 2003, p.178]
  3. The novelty of Smuggler's Run just doesn't have octane to last. [Feb 2002, p.67]
  4. There are so many shortcuts that the handheld version of Smuggler's Run doesn't even come close to evoking the same kind of excitement as the original PS2 game.
  5. Yet the biggest complaint is the sheer boredom one has from doing the same thing over and over again throughout 29 levels; the distances between pickup and drop-off points are so long you begin to count pixels or how many times objects "pop" into view.

Not bad, but not good. This game so poor, i hate it! So on PS2 it looks better! Trust me, if you're going to waste your money on a smuggler's run waste it on the PlayStation 2 version. Full Review »
