  1. You'll have a difficult time mounting an effective defense since opposing teams drive the ball with lightning speed. [Nov 2003, p.156]
  2. It's obvious that some care and talent went into the making of this game. Unfortunately it just didn't dribble down to the most important part - the gameplay.

Unfortunately a promising set of images couldn't prepare us for an absolutely lousy playing game of b-ball on the Game Boy Advance, possibly beating out the 16-bit era NBA Jam clones as the worst of the bunch.
  4. Unless you want to spend $20 to be bored to tears, you should stay away from Street Jam Basketball.

I was hoping for an updated 'street hoop' (neogeo) however gameplay kills this game. 3vs3 on a tiny court should be fun, but this game has no feel. GBA can do better. Expand
  4. Just play NBA Jam, rather than this crappy knock off. You cannot react to the AI at all in this game. They act far to quickly and it is impossible to get open on the offense end. They either block your shot or steal the ball if you try to drive. Steer clear. Expand
