  1. Despite the decent visuals, the repetitive action drags this one down. Thankfully the game can be completed in about two hours. [Summer 2003, p.49]

Simply a mediocre action game with not a whole lot of things to do.
  3. The game ultimately fails because of its repetitive level design and a control system that’s more irritating than fun.
  4. Instead of a Superhero game this one is more of a go here and punch this guy, repeat and move on. Not even die-hard fans like Vaughn would have many nice things to say of this version.

  1. Wacky fighting system, horrendous music that makes you throw yourself to the nearest window and bad graphics does not save the "man of steel" put in shame a beloved fantasy icon. Expand
  2. This game should probably be called "Superman: Punch People A Lot" since you can only get to the final boss if you earn three S shields on every level, and you can only earn three S shields if you don't use heat vision. Which is to say, it's a Superman game that doesn't let you be Superman. Also, it's boring and ugly and the music isn't very good. Expand

NO. This game is terrible, anyone giving it a ten has got to be crazy.
