  • Summary: Before Warcraft... three hairy Norsemen set the stage for a decade of legendary adventure. Meet Erik the Swift, Baleog the Fierce and Olaf the Stout--your typical, borderline insane Vikings who just happen to get abducted by aliens. Now it's up to you to slash, smash and solve their way home. Intense arcade action--from the makers of Warcraft®, StarCraft® and Diablo.® Expand

A surprisingly good remake of an unsung classic.
  2. Unfortunately, the difficulty never lets up in the thirty-seven levels.
  3. A puzzle game that will exercise your brain.
  4. For a game that's more than a decade old, The Lost Vikings looks and plays great. [June 2003, p.77]
  5. One of the best single-player puzzle games, but there's no excuse for the absence of a time trial or multiplayer option. [Summer 2003, p.43]

There's a good deal of trial and error involved with The Lost Vikings, an aspect of the game that may seem tedious to some people. But there is a suitably addictive challenge awaiting gamers the first time through.

Excellent remake! I could've never imagined that I could someday play this title on a handheld! :-)

Very good game, if it the same or close to the same as the snes version.

A good game for the advanced players, for the younger players I do not recommend this title.
