  • Summary: Wacky Stackers slaps the Tiny Toons license onto a Puyo Puyo-like puzzle game.
Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 1 out of 5
  2. Negative: 0 out of 5
  1. Stackers avoids falling into the puzzle abyss by devising new methods to bust egg clusters, adding addictive competition modes, and highlighting its Tiny Toon characters. [7 Feb 2003, p.90]
  2. This is pretty much a status quo "Puyo Pup"-style game featuring a license (Tiny Toons) tht ran its course a decade ago. [Jan 2003, p.122]
  3. What impressed me the most about Wacky Stackers as a whole were the music and sound effects.
  4. Let's not split "hares" about this game. Tiny Toon Adventures: Wacky Stackers is Puyo Pop in cheap clothing. If Mel Blanc were alive today he would probably…be old.

Unless you're seriously into Tiny Toons (which, as far as I can tell, has already run its course as a license), skip this one and get the real deal: "Puyo Pop."
