  1. Despite only having six main stages, THPS 3 is a game that will last for a surprisingly long time.
  2. From the texturized polygons on the characters for extra realism to the bone crunching sound effects, this game simply delivers everything you could ever want in a game, including a multiplayer mode.
  3. Although the game is much like Tony Hawk 2, overall this makes the better total package, and the addition of the multiplayer alone makes it worth getting.
  4. The gameplay is thoroughly engaging. [Apr 2002, p.89]
  5. Although they did add some great things to Tony Hawk 3 for Game Boy Advance, it’s essentially the same game.
  6. A remarkable 3-D achievement and more features than ever. [Mar 2002, p.135]

The complex environments from the console games are here, but the small size kills the visual detail, and the 3/4-overhead perspective makes those levels much harder to navigate.
