The game has solid gameplay, a fun storyline, colorful and detailed characters and a very easy to master control scheme.
If you're a wrestling fan with a sense of humor, a love of Japanese absurdity, and modest expectations, Ultimate Muscle: The Path of the Superhero is definitely worth your time.
The characters and their moves are positively hilarious, and the combat system is complex enough to allow two human players to play match after match without growing bored.
A simple, arcadey grappler that’s likely to appeal more to enthusiasts of things that are insane than hardcore wrestling fanatics.
Itis large line-up of characters and move combinations make a comprehensive wrestling title. But the somewhat clunky character movements and attacks may have some players stepping out of the ring.
If it weren't for the sloppy grappling system, Ultimate Muscle could have been a worthy purchase, especially for fans of the quirky animated series. The bold graphics, battery backup, ability to improve special powers, hidden wrestlers, and versus play are definite pluses.
