  • Summary: Hey! You! Yeah, you! Listen up when Wario's talking to you! I just read about this legendary Pyramid of Gold, and you're gonna help me go explore it. There's lots of treasure in there for the taking, and I want it all. I'm sure there are gonna be all kinds of weird enemies and big, bad bosses in there, so if you don't think you can hack it, put the game down now. I don't want any losers making me jump into bottomless pits, you hear me? Expand

  1. Graphically the game looks fantastic. The game is insanely colorful and the sprites are well animated.
  2. Holds your interest by constantly throwing new play mechanics and puzzles at you. [Spring 2002, p.42]
  3. Everything from the design of the bosses to the absolutely incredible levels screams personality.
  4. It's nothing new to the Wario Land enthusiast, but it's enjoyable nonetheless. [Jan 2002, p.96]

The game was awesome and the sprites were very well done. I liked the controls - they were easy to follow. The music was breath-taking. The music captured every moment, I wish I could download some! Expand
  2. Wario Land 4 is a good game with great graphics. The graphics could honestly be passable for the Nintendo DS! The game had some well hidden secrets and much Wario Land style. It is a great platformer with interesting moves, enemies, and bosses. The levels were colorful and the power-ups made for a good time. I had two problems with it though. I missed one of the treasure chests on one of the bosses and I could never get it back. Also, completing the game 100% is difficult. Its length was short, but overall great platformer! Expand

Great game but was over far too quickly. Some of the nicest graphics I've seen so far on the beloved GBA!
