  • Summary: Hey! You! Yeah, you! Listen up when Wario's talking to you! I just read about this legendary Pyramid of Gold, and you're gonna help me go explore it. There's lots of treasure in there for the taking, and I want it all. I'm sure there are gonna be all kinds of weird enemies and big, bad bosses in there, so if you don't think you can hack it, put the game down now. I don't want any losers making me jump into bottomless pits, you hear me? Expand

  1. Graphically the game looks fantastic. The game is insanely colorful and the sprites are well animated.
  2. Everything from the design of the bosses to the absolutely incredible levels screams personality.
  3. At the conclusion of some of the levels there are awesome mini-games...Homerun in Wario is awesome--it tests your baseball skills as much as your platform gaming skills!
  4. The gameplay is tight and varied, the graphics are detailed and bright, and the sound is second to none.
  5. It's nothing new to the Wario Land enthusiast, but it's enjoyable nonetheless. [Jan 2002, p.96]
  6. There's a lot in Warioland to wow you but, at the end of the day, it's just a GBC adventure with nice graphics. Which is REAL daylight robbery.
  7. One slight drawback is that without a light for your GBA some of the levels are quite dark and the action further down the line can be somewhat repetitive even with the new challenges the game dishes out for you.

Welcome to this amazing game in the Wario world. You can execute many types of moves, you can transform into many things. Take this game and store it in your GBA collection. There are 18 courses, 6 bosses, 3 mini-games, and 16 obtainable records. Nintendo knew how to make a GBA classic! And I mention the graphics? They're awesome! Expand

Fantastic game. I've never even heard of this game before, but it came free with the ambassador programme and I absolutely love it. The graphics for it are great for a GBA games, the levels are big and have a very old school platform feel to them. Wario's transformation forms remind me of the old Rolo to The Rescue style gameplay. It has some great music, and the has a pretty original gameplay style for a platform game. If this comes out on the virtual console it is a must have game. Expand

Wario Land 4 is a good game with great graphics. The graphics could honestly be passable for the Nintendo DS! The game had some well hidden secrets and much Wario Land style. It is a great platformer with interesting moves, enemies, and bosses. The levels were colorful and the power-ups made for a good time. I had two problems with it though. I missed one of the treasure chests on one of the bosses and I could never get it back. Also, completing the game 100% is difficult. Its length was short, but overall great platformer! Expand

The worst game on an amazing series (witch includes Shake It, on Wii). Wario Land 3 felt more open and clever. Wario Land 5 gave us amazing visuals and music. Still, you can't go wrong with Wario Rock'n'Roll!! Expand
