  1. It’s not exactly a sequel, but more of a standalone expansion pack with improved gameplay. Get it!
  2. A must-own title for fans of the cartoon and a strong buy for fans of strategy games in general. [Summer 2003, p.52]
  3. What this game lacks in glitz and glamour, it makes up in structure, skill and longevity.
  4. 74
It's the closest one yet to capturing the spirit of the card game.
  5. Don't get me wrong, I do like the game. It's just that perhaps I'll wait until a version with playable God Cards is released before I buy another Yu-Gi-Oh! game.
  6. The trading card game rules could be confusing for a Yu-Gi-Oh! novice, but the basic play control is intuitive. [May 2003, p.140]
  7. The graphics and sound are rather bland, and novice players will spend a lot of time blundering through their mistakes until they figure out how to play the game through trial and error. Not much fun at all.

You can only make so many Yu-Gi-Oh games before they get terrible and this is a prime example of that. You have to grind out playing for hours in order to advance in the pathetic story and even then its over as soon as you know it. Its just another pathetic game imo. Expand
