The matches all feel important, which is totally cool in a World Cup setting. [May 2002, p.133]
-
85Probably the coolest new feature of 2002 FIFA World Cup is the inclusion of juggling. A player who masters juggling can truly be devastating on the field.
-
2002 FWC suffers from a lack of teams, little weather and time of day conditions and the frustrating inability to change the stadium and match duration while setting up a game, this has to be done in the options.
-
82The game controls, looks, and sounds better than FIFA 2002, but with only two modes and very few options it feels a whole lot more limited.
-
80You only get two play modes with this game, friendly and tournament, and that just isnt enough...Having said all that, this game kicks its predecessor in the ass. It looks better, plays better, sounds better and damnit, it just feels right.
-
80An excellent game, but lack of game modes and teams limits its possibilities.
-
74If you already own FIFA 2002, then there really isn't any reason to own 2002 FIFA World Cup, and if you don't own FIFA 2002 but are looking for a soccer game, you should get that game instead.
-
Cumbersome at the best of times, it takes a lot more effort on the players part than it should to control the ball as they would wish. Not good for a fast-paced sports title.
-
70Last years installment still has a lot more replay value and there are plenty of noteworthy soccer alternatives for the GameCube that you can spend your money on.
