It is not a game without faults, but its solid, if formulaic gameplay mechanics and beautiful cartoon style combine for an experience that is definitely recommended.
  2. If you loved the cartoon, you’ll go batty for Vengeance’s complete and polished packed of Caped Crusading. [Feb 2002, p.149]
  3. The GameCube version slightly edges out its PS2 brother...It succeeds at what it set out to do--it puts you into the role of Batman.
  4. Don't worry about what it isn't, just enjoy it for what it is – one of the few playable and, yep, fairly enjoyable superhero games out there.

Actually not too bad - but it doesn't stand out from the crowd of action/adventure games in any way.

TERRIBLE controls, terrible levels. By far the worst title in my 40+ game Gamecube collection. Anyone who gives this game a rating of 7 or more is INSANE! Expand
