  1. The pacing is realistic, which is to say that it's not for the fast-action fans, and the controls are responsive but complex. [March 2005, p.107]

The dangerous animals option is way better than on the other games, the tracking, rifles, and game seem more real.

Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2005 Adventures is my all-time favorite game! It has good graphics, high replayability, and is realistic and memorable. Every time I end this game, it is always kind of depressing because I remember the good memories that I had playing it. So, I always end up starting a new career. Plus, the game doesn't miss any aspect of hunting, making it extremely realistic. The memories that this game has left me are of funny circumstances and good times. So, if you just want to fire a round off at 36 different species of animals, and you have a Nintendo Gamecube, this is the game you want to pick up soon! Collapse

This game has truly remarkable enviroments, and I was also blown away by the realism and fun element there was when I was slaughtering helpless animals that could'nt hide from the wrath of my halo 2 sniping skills. Expand
