The ten-year-old "NBA Jam" is exponentially better than this. The two-year-old "NBA Street" is eight kajillion times better than this.

The play mechanics, while passable, are uninspired, repetitive and downright boring.
  3. A complex passing and player-switching scheme makes play control unnecessarily difficult, but the action flows freely and the excitement level is high. [June 2003, p.138]
  4. The play is slow, rubbery, and uneventful. [May 2003, p.62]
  5. Suffers from a vast array of frustrating and obnoxious problems, making it practically unplayable by any audience... It has no redeeming qualities, and it should be avoided by basketball fans and Disney fans alike.

It is a pretty good game. The graphics are good, the controls are a little difficult, and the announcer is pretty funny(but sometimes annoying). There are no fouls, so the opponent could knock you down easily and get the ball, which can get very annoying. The special and super dunks are awsome, and the three-on-three action is good. You need a lot of practice and patiance to get good at this game. I largely recommened you rent this game to see if you like it before buying it. Full Review »
