Magical Mirror is light and lively fare for those Gamecube owners tired of hacking and slashing through piles of demons but wanting to have a gaming good time while relaxing on their sofas in front of their TV sets.
The slow pace and indirect control may not appeal to players looking for an action-oriented experience. [Aug 2002, p.142]

The bad reviews are false cause this game is fun! Sure sometimes the game is very boring but that is sometimes. The gameplay is great and the graphics are great. The controls has aged well and the game is fun.

I just have special memories with this it was scary it was fun and as an adult not as good but it still has things where you like all right that's all right

Those older than six will breeze through the game within a few hours, while younger players may have difficulty trying to figure out how to make Mickey do what they want him to do.
The incredibly slow pacing and monotonous puzzles will override the Disney entertainment factor for the young as well.
Has my vote for THE WORST GAME EVER and I'm sure anyone else who plays it will agree with me. This even has "Universal Studios: Theme Park" beat, only because of how horrible the controls are, especially the 1992 "point and click" type of gaming.
It is without doubt the worst thing on the cube. The Graphics, Gameplay, Sound and Lifespan are all extremely poor, and I still can’t believe two of the most respected company’s in the business have put their names on it. Laughable.
It is a plain, simple, yet fun Mickey Mouse game that is actually half way decent. Easy for both kids and adults to enjoy even though the difficulty isn't very high. Enjoy a game with Mickey that isn't long and drawn out by a battle system or isn't demoralizing you because of poor controls or camera angles.
