Freedom Fighters Image
  • Summary: With fierce conflict unfolding in the streets of America, it's your patriotic duty to fight back. Take on the role of Christopher Stone, and evolve from an average New Yorker into a fearless patriot who recruits and leads an army of freedom fighters in the streets of New York City. Freedom Fighters combines the depth of a squad-based game with the intensity of an action-packed war game, all of which unfolds in the streets, subways, and buildings of a modern-day urban battleground. 1. One of the most interesting titles to come out for the Nintendo GameCube and any Cube gamer would be foolish to pass a game like this up.
  2. Deftly avoids the many pitfalls of AI squad tactics, and this, combined with great control, mission design, and presentation, makes for a truly fantastic game.
  3. The story may be weak and the opposition dumb; the lack of depth doesn’t have to stop you from having a great time blasting some Soviets in this otherwise decent game.

Vastly underrated and often overlooked. This is one of the best squad based shooters to come around in a long time.

Easily the best squad-based shooter for Nintendo. The multiplayer mode is my favorite with 2-3 friends hecticly fighting for the flag.
