  • Summary: Harry, Ron, and Hermione are back in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, a game based on J.K. Rowling's fourth book. The game follows Harry, the wizard-in-training, as he confronts a fire-breathing dragon, rescues friends from the icy depths of the Black Lake, and navigates the twisting corridors of a maze. As Harry, Ron, or Hermione, you can cast a variety of spells in both single-player and cooperative modes. Expand

  1. A great leap forward for the Potter franchise, and a fun and inclusive gaming experience. [Jan 2006, p.107]
  2. It's a worthwhile platforming experience for hardcore Potter fans, but some may be put off by all the collection quests and backtracking.
  3. 72
The game's not perfect. There are some camera issues. Some AI issues. And I really would have preferred to have more control over spells. But it still arrives as a solid entry to the series. Kids will probably like it a lot.
  4. A game parents will be able to safely play with their pre-teen kids.

Pretty good game, goes towards the book more than the movie did. Recommended!

Wasn't that good. It was kind annoying and boring. If you choose a character the others wont help you that much. I Just thought that there was too much magic and stuff. Expand

Wow....just wow....I am a really big Harry Potter fan and have bought all the games for the Gamecube so far. But this one I thought would be wicked after seeing all the pictures posted and everything! Boy was I wrong. This game is seriously the worst one out. It took me maybe 2 hours to beat it....AND you can't explore any of the castle, classrooms, etc like you could in the previous Potter adventures. Goblet is just a "select-the-next-mission" mode type thing, and you can't go on to the next level without doing the same level OVER at least 4 times! It's just so repetitive. I took it back as soon as I beat it..... Sorry Harry...i've betrayed your game. Expand
