72A faithful compilation that remains true to its roots and won't disappoint videogame archeologists.
-
68Silly music and controller headaches aside, Intellivision Lives! does a fine job of compiling a huge number of games into one package and presenting them in an easy-to-pick-up manner.
-
A package that is full of potential, with over 60 games and several bonus features. However, there are many problems with everything in between especially the keypad and controls, but also with the lack of graphical quality outside of the faithfully reproduced Intellivision graphics, and the short soundtrack.
-
60While Intellivision Lives accurately represents the look and sound of what gamers were playing on the system, it doesn't accurately represent the actual Intellivision experience. The only way this would be possible is with an actual Intellivision controller.
-
Designed for a keypad-equipped Controller, the games are almost unplayable after their configuration to the GCN Controller - it's a frustrating experience. [Jan 2005, p.138]
